Water Treatment

The water collected by the skimmer or overflow is filtered, then treated by salt electrolysis and returned to the pool.

Water Inlet

The treated water is fed into the entire BEACHPOOL floor completely invisibly below the drainage layer using the patented BEACHPOOL technology. The water actively flushes the entire drainage layer and is thus filtered once more.

Drainage

The water flowing upwards from the bottom carries light dirt and pieces of leaves to the surface of the water - no matter what the depth. This is how a BEACHPOOL cleans itself by the way.

Irrespective of the wind, the surface flow carries the sediment to the edge, where it is picked up by the skimmer or overflow.

BESANDUR® is our patented and fast-curing binder for marble pebbles that retains its permanently elastic flexibility even after curing. Besandur guarantees high efficiency in application and also convinces with its permanent material fastness and sustainability. After mixing the two pre-portioned components, BESANDUR® is added directly to the pebbles. No weighing, no contamination and no acceleration due to kinetic energy.

Binder

BESANDUR® has been specially developed and tested over many years to meet our criteria for a perfect BEACHPOOL. It forms the basis of every BEACHPOOL and facilitates its uncomplicated and solid construction. The patented formula offers the ideal characteristics in terms of durability, workability and sustainability.

Decorative layer

The visible BEACHPOOL surface consists of only two components: absolutely natural Italian marble gravel and BESANDUR®. Each piece of pebble is perfectly coated, which allows for an open-pored and absolutely even distribution without sagging.

Drainage

Water treated by salt electrolysis is passed through the entire drainage layer and the upper decorative layer. This drainage layer consists of a special moraine grit that prevents algae growth throughout the basin. The water is exceptionally pure and crystal clear.

Impermeability

EPDM foil has proven itself in pond construction for many years. It can be stretched 300 times, is absolutely tear-proof and UV-resistant. This means that leaks are impossible, even if the underlying conditions change. The special thing about our EPDM foil is that it is usually used in agriculture, in particular when it comes to large water reservoirs.

Illumination

BEACHPOOL Illumination & Starlight

The patented BEACHPOOL lighting is based on
fibre-optic light pipes and provides exceptionally atmospheric lighting.
The luminaires are recessed flush into the floor, which is why they are not noticeable during the day while the beach pool retains its immaculate appearance. The minimalist design offers a high-quality and very attractive appeal and is also extremely durable and robust. The BEACHPOOL lighting system consists of individual spots for illuminating the entire pool or for illuminating solitaires. The light guides have a finger-thick diameter and their number is adapted to the size of the beach pool.
BEACHPOOL Starlight are much finer light guides made of glass fibre, also in RGBW. The number is many times greater here and is also adapted to the size of your beach pool. They are also installed flush with the surface and, due to their small diameter, are completely invisible even during the day.
Illumination & Starlight are an integral part of every BEACHPOOL and are individually handmade for each one.

In most cases, available space and/or budget determine the final pool size. We will not set you any limits here. However, the decisive factor is how you want to use your BEACHPOOL. More shallow water zones or more swimming area?

The BEACHPOOL design team will find the optimal solution for you. Every BEACHPOOL is designed and built individually for you and customised according to your wishes.
